Shiur Schedule
Agadata Sotah In this series given Thursday afternoons, R’ Aaron goes through Agadatah Gemora in Meseches Sotah and expounds upon them. Following the classic sefer Ein Yaakov R’ Aaron brings these aggados alive, showing the depth behind the words of Chazal, and of course, shows how these often esoteric gemoros give meaning and direction for our daily lives. Yisodaei HaTorah Shiur
This Motzei Shabbos shiur is based on R’ Aaron’s sefer Yesodaei HaTorah – a collection the foundational and essential Rishonim presented according to the weekly parsha. Each week R’ Aaron picks up where he left off that parsha the previous year. He goes through the words of the great Rishonim on each parsha, presenting the “Yesodei HaTorah” from the classic Rishonim. |
Moreh Nevuchim Shiur Part of the years long series learning the seforim of the Rambam, in this Thursday night shiur R’ Aaron learns the sefer Moreh Nevuchim. Starting from the beginning and going through the sefer line by line, R’ Aaron presents this much deliberated sefer in a clear and even practical way. Tiferes Yisroel Shiur
This shiur, given early Sunday morning (attended primarily by talmidim in Eretz Yisroel), R’ Aaron goes through the Maharal’s sefer on Tiferes Yisroel. The sefer (intended for the Yom Tov of Shavuos) presents the Maharal’s understanding of Torah in authentic Jewish language. R’ Aaron learns the sefer, explaining its depth, provides insight into its ideas, and shows the relevance of its message. This is a must listen to for anyone looking for an understanding of Toras Hamachshava in general and Toras Maharal in specific. |
Parsha Shiur Delivered live at Yeshiva of Greater Washington every Friday morning and streamed on Zoom, R’ Aaron’s famous Chumash Shiur is listened to and revered throughout the Jewish world. Built from a wide range of sources in Chazal, Rishonim/Achronim, this shiur brings the depth of the weekly parsha to light, while always making it meaningful and relevant for our daily lives. |
